Dr. Anand Tarpara is dual-certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery — a distinction held by a select group of vascular specialists. He also holds the RPVI credential (Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation), reflecting his expertise in non-invasive vascular diagnostics.

Dr. Tarpara earned his MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he completed his general surgery residency and served as chief resident. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a vascular surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

He has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national vascular surgery meetings, and is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. A forward-thinking clinician, Dr. Tarpara is an advocate for the integration of artificial intelligence in vascular diagnosis and personalized care.

Dr. Tarpara's patient-first philosophy centers on clear communication, genuine compassion, and ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and empowered throughout their care. He speaks English and conversational Gujarati. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling the world with his wife, basketball, music, and gardening.
